I have narrowed my next purchase down to two: It is lightweight due to the scandium frame , balanced, and the checkering and grips felt perfect. I don’t have a thousand rounds through it, mainly because I have so many others I’m trying to break in.

I have rounds down the tube, not a huge count by any means, but only to the range 1X. Really liked having that lighter frame on the numerous 5 positions. I was concerned about the JHP from all the talk about them jamming but so far not a problem.

But, if you really like the gun I don’t think you will be dissatisfied. I don’t mind a pistol having its quirks, I just like to know about them first. I strongly prefer the bobtail grip shape, and this has a shape almost exactly like the Sig fastback.

Smith and Wesson E Series A Brief Review – Topic

First I cut the living shit out of myself when I field stripped it to clean and lube. The one with the slide cut outs. I have a black SC e and it is beautiful. The checkering on the front and back strap is sticky, but more comfortable than some of the more aggressive checkering that I have felt.

As far as problems go, I’d say the biggest thing is the finish scratching.
